Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture

The Leopold Center is a research and education center with statewide programs to develop sustainable agricultural practices that are both profitable and conserve natural resources. It was established under the Groundwater Protection Act of 1987 with a three-fold mission:

Michigan State University Extension

Since its beginning, Michigan Extension has focused on bringing knowledge-based educational programs to the people of the state to improve their lives and communities. Today, county-based staff members, in concert with on-campus faculty members, serve every county with programming focused on agriculture and natural resources; children, youth and families; and community and economic development.

University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service

The mission of the University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service is to be a dynamic, flexible organization dedicated to delivering quality, relevant programs most needed by the people of the Virgin Islands.

Hawaii Cooperative Extension Service

College professionals provide a variety of educational outreach activities, in addition to their private volunteer projects. Our efforts, many of which are conducted from our Cooperative Extension offices, empower people to make more informed choices about professional and personal life.

Florida Cooperative Extension

Operating as part of the University's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, Extension serves each of the state's 67 counties by providing information and conducting educational programs on issues such as sustainable agriculture, competitiveness in world markets, natural resource conservation, energy conservation, food safety, child and family development, consumer credit counselling, and youth development.

Using science-based knowledge, University of Missouri Extension engages people to understand change, solve problems and make informed decisions.

Utah State University Extension

Utah State University Cooperative Extension delivers research-based education and information to Utahns regardless of how close or far they live from campus. Educational programs that address agriculture; community and economic development; 4-H and youth; natural resources; and family, food and nutrition, are delivered via a variety of methods and are offered through a federal, state and county partnership. Utah State Cooperative Extension has offices that reach every county and in a very real sense “extends” the university to you.

Rhode Island Cooperative Extension

At the heart of URI's Land Grant mission, Cooperative Extension helps people to improve their lives and communities by extending University-based research for the benefit of families, farms and the environment.

Ohio State University Extension

Ohio State University Extension brings the knowledge of the university to your door. We fulfill the land-grant mission of Ohio State University by interpreting knowledge and research developed by the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Ohio State and other land-grant universities, so that Ohioans can use the scientifically based information to better their lives, businesses and communities.
