Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN) - Maine

Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN) is a collaborative effort of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Time & Tide Resource Conservation and Development.

Through a series of educational, technical assistance, and networking opportunities, WAgN works to increase the number of women owning and operating profitable farms and ag-related businesses, as well as their profile in leadership positions throughout the agricultural sectors of business, government and community.

AWiA has grown quickly to a national body of around 500 members. Members come from a large cross section of industries and include farmers, scientists, educators, communicators and others. All members bring a wealth of talents to the organisation and to agriculture.
