There are almost as many different places to plant flowers as there are flowers to be planted. Be creative. Use an old wooden crate as a planter. Turn a sap bucket into a hanging flower basket. With a little bit of planning you can turn easily turn a dull corner of the yard into a lovely mix of colors.
Choose plants based on where you plan to locate them or how you intend to use them.
