Judith Korff

Randolph, New York

Suri and Huacaya alpacas (both breeding stock and fleece)

Judith Korff owns and operates LadySong Farm in southwestern New York State. Her 15+ acre farm is used to raise suri and huacaya alpacas. Judith is currently designing a floral/orchard labrynth attraction for agritourists which she expects to open to the public in the spring of 2007. The labrynth will incorporate fruit trees for home consumption as well as a quince orchard for direct marketing of quinces and quince jellies. A variety of specialty cut flowers and other perennials will be planted interspersed among the fruit trees, and a 4-foot mulched walkway (wide enough for wheelchair access) will wend its way through the segments of the labrynth, leading visitors through the various orchards and floral beds.

Judith sells raw (uncleaned) fleeces from her alpacas, as well as value-added fiber products (hand- and drum-carded rovings, rolags and batts, and handspun yarn). Articles that Judith has written for Alpacas Magazine have been picked up for reprint in the U.K. trade publication, Alpaca. She can also be reached by telephone at (716) 499-0383.
