Ryan Albinger

Ryan is an organic grower from Fredonia, Wisconsin.  He was born and raised on the family dairy and crop farm.  He has 125 acres that are under organic management.  Ryan was schooled in the “modern” agricultural approaches and succumbed to the conventional thinking.  Upon realizing there’s more to crop production than throwing a whole bunch of chemicals and hoping for a good crop, much less a profitable one, he began searching for a better way.  He took a step back and realized we, as an industry, are getting nowhere.  We’re plagued by before unseen disease and insect attacks, uncontrollable weed infestations, and dependence on the chemical arsenal. The better way found has been to synergistically work with the soil and biology to correct the problems and prevent them, subsequently without the use of toxic chemistries.
